But whether venturing down a gravel road to your favorite camping spot or keeping the rubber to the pavement the AltRider Skid Plate offers serious protection from obstacles and road debris while complementing the Bonneville’s timeless style.
AltRider engineers carefully designed the Skid Plate to provide maximum strength and coverage while retaining as much ground clearance as possible. Laser cut from a high-grade 5052 H32 aluminum the Skid Plate gets a grain finish to remove burrs is formed hand welded and anodized for durability. This important accessory features a complex shape that wraps around the headers in the front and on the underside providing complete protection to the vulnerable oil filter as well.
The AltRider Skid Plate mounts to the Bonneville’s frame with high quality stainless steel hardware for maximum strength. Installation is easy with the included hardware with no cutting or other modifications necessary. PEM press nuts in the bracket means you won’t be fumbling with loose hardware during installation.
In addition to the Triumph Bonneville this AltRider Skid Plate also fits Triumph Scrambler and Thruxton air-cooled models. It is available in a clear anodized finish and a black anodized finish.
